When we think about baby toys we think about the rattles, chew toys, and play mats. But what is constant from our experience with our kids is that they play with many of the common household items and the packaging of the toys they receive. They just open up their gifts and are disinterested in the toy itself and attack the cardboard boxes, gift bag, tissue paper, string, and, a crowd favorite, bubble wrap.
Here are some fun facts about recycling:

1.) Babies don’t care that it’s not intended to be a toy.
2.) Babies like things that make a crinkle sound.
3.) If it fits in the mouth (and is organic of course), it’s game.
4.) What you may think is junk is the coolest, bestest, most awesome thingy in the entire world…for about 10 minutes.
