Our family is a work in progress when it comes to being green. We’ve always had a great love for Mother Earth and the great outdoors but our journey of leaving a carbon free footprint as been slow but steady (eco friendly things weren’t available like they are today). In preparation for our third child, we checked out the latest and greatest in cloth diapers. If only these diaper systems were available with our first child! If we only knew then what we know now….learn from our lessons.
While researching for cloth diapers a good friend pointed me towards a great resource, Green Mountain Diapers. Awesome Site for a resource on cloth diapers (course you can always wiki it too).

Green Mountain Diapers thoroughly explains the different types of cloth diapers, what you need to begin cloth diapering your baby, how to wash cloth diapers, testimonials on each brand and even offer a gift registry. This site is a great resource showcasing a wide variety of brands. For overwhelmed first timers, there is a section titled “New to Cloth Info” where they break down what is needed and how much it will cost you. There are some great examples of starter packages based on your family budget. This is, by far, is one of the most valuable tips on living green and living light on your wallet!
Tell us about your cloth diaper experience!
